Mocha’s legacy lives on in our herd through her progeny. Mocha suffered an untimely death after a dog attack, but she bravely powered through against the odds. She gave us three litters of kids, after she was maimed in one of her front legs, eventually succumbing to the complications. We had her on milk test and have a complete record of her last lactation before she passed away. I am unsure if she will be awarded a milk star, since we did not do a verification test that year.

Mocha was a real stinker on the milk stand. It was a huge relief to have a milker for the majority of her last lactation. Mocha was our queen Butterscotch’s half sister.
