Farm Wildwood Gallant Lynx

This handsome boy has been doing amazing things for our herd!

We brought Lynx home in the summer of 2023. His pedigree contains numerous stunning animals and we can not wait to see how his daughters do in our herd. “Lynx” is backed by generations of productive milkers. Several have also appraised at the top of the breed and are finished champions.

Lynx is a gorgeous buck. Long, level and correct in almost every way. One of his exceptional strengths is his long level rump. Having used him heavily in 2024 breeding season, we only used him on a select few does for the 2025 breedings season. We will once again be using him extensively in the fall of 2026 on our Sabre daughters.

Lynx’s maternal half sister “Farm Wildwood Litsea” was the first place 4 year old at Nationals in July 2025!

Lynx has improved capacity, teat size and overall udder attachments in the does we have freshened out of him. He stamps almost every one of his kids with his beautiful long, elegant body type and level rump. We can’t say enough nice things about this boy! We currently have 3 freshened daughters in our herd and many more to freshen next year.

Lynx’s paternal grandsire, “EJ Rocket Man”, was sired by none other than “Old Mountian Farm Elton Jay”. Rocket Man’s dam, “Better Wayz Pumpkin Spice” scored VEEE90 as a 5 year old.

Rocket’s full sister “Better Wayz Autumn Pumpkin” scored VEVV88 as a 2 yr old 2nd freshener and is looking to be a strong milker, with a milk test high of 5.6 lbs as a second freshener.

Lynx’s Dam is a finished champion who did very well in LA in 2022. Tiger Lily is a striking doe. I love how level and elegant she is and her beautiful teat placement was a must for me when looking for a new buckling for our herd. Tiger Lily passes these traits on to her lovely daughters in the Wildwood herd. Three of her daughters (Lynx’s half sisters) are also finished champions!
