Plum Bush Farm

I can’t express how grateful I am to have Margarita in our herd. She made her way to our farm as a 3.5 year old dry doe who had never freshened.

Margarita settled easily for us and kidded twins as a four year old. She has an extremely capacious and well attached udder, and a strong will to milk.

Margarita gave us 5.7lbs of milk at one month fresh, after recovering from mastitis when she first freshened. She gave us 5.3 lbs on her next test at 2 months fresh.

Margarita is the kind of doe that I would be happy to hit copy and paste and make many more. She milks, she is beautiful, and she is so sweet and loving.

Margarita would have scored higher, but her score had to be capped at 89 since she is a first freshener. Can’t wait to see what she does at our next appraisal!
