Late Fall

A thought keeps niggling in the back of my mind. That I really want to publish a blog post every now and then. But then I realize it’s a lot easier said than done. But I want people to know that we are real.

When you buy a goat, or some milk, or a bar of soap from us, it’s coming from real people on a real working micro dairy. So maybe putting thoughts on paper help me fulfill that little desire to “be real”.

I faced real burnout here on our farm earlier this summer. Then on the tail of that we started selling our goat milk soap. Which strangely enough helped me out of my slump. I’m finding that making soap is a fun challenge. And an art. People seem to like the product. So for a it seems like a win, win situation.

Next blog post will be more reflective, on what all happened on our farm this year. Some difficulties we faced and the results of that. Maybe after that post, some news about breeding plans, and looking into the future in our 2026 season.

I’ll add some photos here of a few of our fall happenings.
